Surprise teams come every season, but sometimes Super bowl favourites miss out, too. The Baltimore Ravens and Indianapolis Colts were the two AFC favourites but both missed out last year, as injuries held both squads to 5-11 and 8-8 records, respectively.
Heck, even the juggernaut Pittsburgh Steelers only got in on the last day of the regular season. The Seattle Seahawks just barely got in as well after winning the last two NFC Championships. You get our point, expect the unexpected in the NFL.
